Hello All,
We are Ryan and Chantal, and we would like to say thank you for all the information you have provided us. When we first started looking into the K-1 VISA, we had absolutely no clue what to do. We had thought paying for a lawyer, or paying to download a Kit.
But then I stumbled upon this site, and with all of the information available here, it's been more simplistic that I thought possible.
We sent our I-129F towards Vermont today, so we're looking forward to getting to know a lot of you and contributing whatever we can to the forum.

Hi guys..Welcome to the group!!! I'm just newbie here too but I'm already on the process of AOS(Adjustment of STatus) .I just had my Biometrics yesterday here in Houston Texas Appointment Service Center.

Thank you all so much!!! And, wow, newbies of the week, we'll definitely take it. Thanks to all of you for the kind words. It's been about two months since I've seen Chantal, and I'm boarding a flight on Saturday to spend the weekend with her, so things are going pretty good here lately.
Welcome to the big VJ family!!!! We, too, almost bought a Kit but in the end fellow VJers here have advised against the idea, suggesting that VJ and its guides are all I need and they are absolutely right!!!

I would also like to second the big thanks to everyone who is on these forums. You guys are wonderful!
Sometimes it is really hard making it through the day without Mark by my side, none of my friends can really understand how much we are having to go through to be together. There have been times when I have cried to Mark about how unfair it is that while they say we are free, we actually are not, we are like property in a way, being told we can or cant move to certain places, it is hard to understand at times why we can not just live where ever we want to. Having everyone else here reminds me that Mark and I are not alone in our journey to be together. Thank you all for your support, it means so very much!

me and my husband feels the same way too , but we aren't losing hope because we know that God is guiding us in this journey and so we know that we will be together soon! soon! soon!

The journey without doubt is hard - But please consider this. If at the end of this process, any relationship that survives the preasures and stress brought on by all this, can pretty much tackle anything
