Our CR-1 application has gone smoothly until just now. At our final interview, our app was suspended until we can furnish a police certificate from the Russian Federation. We went to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yerevan, and it seemed pretty sketchy. My husband filled out a request for an Armenian police certificate because the Ministry doesn't have separate ones for Russia-they just scratch out "Armenia" and write in "Russia." Then they said that Russia is being awful about sending the information back to Armenia, and that we may NEVER receive it. Does anyone have experience with this? Do you know any other route we can go through to get a Russian Police Certificate for an Armenian Citizen living in Armenia?
