My wife's interview will be on June 5th! Geez, this is totally unexpected. I just gave NVC a random call this morning and decided to talk to an operator about when should I call in order to inquire about the interview date. She said I got an interview date for you now. I only said, "wow!" I was expecting the rep to tell me to call back later this month or even next month to find out. After all, my case was just completed at NVC on May 8th and HCMC post is well-known as one of the busiest post.

Congrat tyrobe. My case's completed at NVC on May 8, 1 day after, but I called to NVC, they answerred that I've not had the interview date yet.

Actually, when I first called NVC I received the same reponse of "Your case was completed on ...." For some reason, I decided to press 5 next to talk with an operator. That's how I learn of the surprise news. I did ask her during the conversation whether or not my case has been sent to the consulate yet. She said it'll be soon. As of today, the message still hasn't changed.

HCMC doesn't allow petitioner in the interview room. So I'm planning just to come with my wife and wait at the Consulate with my passport as an entry ID. I'll also give my passport to my wife to show the CO if possible in order to let them know that I'm accompanying her to the interview.
