I was so confused when i filled my I-864 form for my spouse, it was a big and lenthy form with 12 pages of instructons.
then i found that i can fill I-864EZ form because i am filing for my husband only and i am going to show my own earned income with W2's

As per my understanding i just wanted to share my knowledge and please correct me if i am wrong

Form I-864 is used when you are sponsering more than ONE inteding immigrant.

Form I-864EZ is used when you are going to sponser only ONE Immigrant.

Form I-864A is a Contract between Household and Sponser(In other words a promise by Household to support immigrant)

Form I-864W is used to get exemption from I-864(If you dont need any support from sponser)

I-864P is Poverty Guideline

today i am mailing my i864 and i864A (my dad is going to be co sponsor ) and we do live in the same household..

i could just use 1864 as i am above poverty line but havingmy dad as joint sponsor will make the applicatin look stronger.. so i was advised to have him fill out i864A

Also, if you use I-864 instead of form I-864EZ when you're only petitioning one person is still ok. That's what I did not knowing I-864EZ existed and didn't have any issues.

Yes, you can use any of them(I-864,I-864EZ) for ONE immigrant but I-864EZ is EASY(EZ) to fill than full form.

All 3 conditions should meet to use the I-864EZ. That means you cannot use your assets in I-864EZ ONLY W2 income.

How many months of Pay stubs do we need to send to NVC? I sent three years of tax returns with the latest W2 and also sent latest Pay Stub and I received a RFE. Please let me know.

i sent for the last 7 months....

According to the instructions in form. They want pay stubs from last 6 months.

I am receiving the following message when I use NVC automated message, "NVC received the documents and found some missing information and send a letter with what is missing". The last thing I did was I paid the DS-230 bill and before that I sent in 864 EZ. So I thought I got an RFE for 864 EZ.

I just talked to a NVC operator and she says everything is fine with the 864 and they are waiting for DS-230 info. Suprising this message comes up for a document that I did not send yet!!!!

In the Instructions of Form I-864EZ You can read the following information under the 18. Current Individual Annual Income.

You may include evidence supporting your claim about your expected income for the current year if you believe that submitting this evidence will help you establish ability to maintain sufficient income. You are not required to submit this evidence, however, unless specifically instructed to do so by a Government official. For example, you may include a recent letter from your employer, showing your employer's address and telephone number, and indicating your annual salary. You may also provide pay stub(s) showing your income for the previous six months. If your claimed income includes alimony, child support, dividend or interest income, or income from any other source, you may also include evidence of that income.

That means the information and evidence you submit other than Most recent Year's transcript is optional but as it is mentioned in cover letter provided my JSC. We all take it for granted and that is for good means.

Guys now I have a confusion, Has anybody seen 7th page of I-864EZ. Is that an obligation ?
