I am sure you will get your approval at the perfect timing! Everything happens when its meant to be. and if it happens sooner then you expected then I am sure there is some good reason behind that. Everything happens for the good.

Oh no! it kind of sucks when you dont see any touches, especially when you check the website like 2 or 3 times a day to see if it got touched. But let me tell you, it would feel a whole lot better if a result came out of those touches because then after a while those touches don't excite you as much anymore. lol. Dont get me wrong, i still get excited when it gets touched, but i would be a whole lot more excited if an approval came out of it. lol

I have been wanting to ask this somewhat of a stupid question. If the 130 is adjudicated prior to the 129, wouldn't the 129 automatically be approved as well? It seems that lately most of the approvals from both service centers are both petitions. Just curious as our 130 was touched three consecutive days at the end of May. This was after a couple days lag from tying the 129 to the 130 touch.

Yes... it seems to be the trend approving both. I have heard of the I129 being approved first and people waiting for the I130 but not the other way since a CR1 is more than the K3.

Seems like us small town hicks from Kansas never buy a break, but I did tonight. Had a chance to double dip with the little lady on the webcam before she starts night shifts at the hospital and she wanted to know about the K-3, again. So I check e-mail for S&G's and it's actually there, approval for the 129!

Her beautiful smile said it all.

Both petitions were touched on the 17th but only approval for the 129 was sent. Don't care was going that route anyway.

Haven't seen Jen lately either. I want to say that she was to go to the Philippines toward the end of August. I remember I will be in China at approximately the same time frame. Hope all is well with her. Miss the chipper attitude, and the roundball talk.

There you are!!!! I was getting worried about our ThirdsJen but here you are yeah I went back to aCR1 but it all depends on when he can get his interview as he can't leave Spain until Jan.

Then you will be coming very soon! My husband is coming to visit on the 10 which is 3 weeks from today and will be here 3-1/2 weeks. I am sort of hoping to at least get the NOA2 before he gets to the border. So I know exactly how you feel. Please keep us updated!

Guys, can you add us (Richard & Sassy) in your May I-130 tracking spreadsheet??? We filed our I-130 May 2 and got our NOA1 May 6, California Service Center. We still haven't received NOA2. Status is still CASE RECEIVED AND PENDING.

hello sassy_girl! no, it doesn't say "touched." that's just our little name for "updated" here. if your case has been looked at, or "touched," for whatever reason, the date under the updated column will show the date. well, the updated date changed after months of inactivity on my case. so that indicated that i was "touched" and somebody looked at my case..

BUT, it nothing happened. it wasn't "touched" again today. i just woke up and hurried to the computer right away to see if there was something different. OH WELL... life goes on..

do you know how to fill in your timeline? go under "IMMIGRATION TIMELINES," that is located on top of this site, on the blue bar, then on the left upper corner of the IMMIGRATION TIMELINE page, under "TIMELINE FUNCTIONS," click on "EDIT/ADD MY ENTRY." input all your information there and that would really help everybody alot with estimates.

i'll put you in our spreadsheet, don't worry..

Jen, thank you very much. I'll update/edit my immigration timeline in a sec. I don't know if we are a K3 or a CR1. My husband filed for I130. Does it mean we're a CR1? Do we have to file a I129F? Richard said he called the service center and they said we only have to file I130, not I129F. We are getting confused now.

don't be confused.. you guys are CR1. filing the I-129F means you want the non-immigrant K3 visa, which is faster but not that much faster really. up to you guys. so you might want to update everything here in VJ that you are CR1.

i got a touch 7/21 but it just kept saying pending.. no email or anything.. then today when i got home from work, there was the letter from USCIS with my NOA2!!! i was like.. what the heck then i jumped up and down.. then started crying.. then ran to the computer and updated my timeline! hahahaha!

yesterday before i left for work, it still said pending and no email from CRIS.. i haven't even checked the uscis website cuz WHO CARES??? I GOT THE NOA2 HARDCOPY ALREADY!! yahooo!!!!
