jac, i wanted to wear a black shirt today but it also had kitty hair all over it and i couldnt find the lint brush....

Ibrahim loves the lint brush! He finally touches the cat. Hesitant, but he touches her. She meows to him when she wants food or the window open. He was terrified of her when he came to Illinois.

i give him props = i hate cats and couldnt get used to living with one. i would whine to get rid of it and if it didnt work i would ignore it. ick! i dont really like dogs either for that matter!

we have 2 cats, long time fam members, Paws is 14 and Bailey is 12....so we couldnt possibly get rid of them, and we have Koby, my little Bischon puppy, who, although I love him very much, was the biggest mistake I ever made....Getting a puppy 2 months before the baby was due....DUH KELLY....I have no time for him...poor guy is looking raggity, he needs a bath, and needs to see the groomer REAL BAD....Honestly If i could find a good home for him, I would probably part with him....i feel like he is super deprived...

Jac...one day ill pop into sherlocks and surprise ya, my days are unpredictable, sometimes i just get an urge to get up and go, so it will be one of those days....i promise...oh yea, im thinking sofyan and i should take the baby for his first trip to Al Basha...poor kid will have to suck down some formula as i devour some shish taouk...mmm soo good...

Our house is just the opposite. My husband feeds the cat and gives her water daily and tries relentlessly to get her to snuggle up to him but as soon as he lets her go KAPOW she's off underneath my youngest daughter's bed again. Poor guy he's trying too hard I think.

This is a lazy day for me.

Husbands a good. Can't comment much cuz I'm in that stage of missing one.

I had two mini poodles right before I got pregnant with my first. By the time I was pregnant with my second (found out about 2 mos after having my first baby...did you know you're super fertile after you've given birth??? LOL) I had had it and ended up finding an older couple that wanted two poodles so I was lucky but the poor things were pretty ragged looking by the time we gave them away. They used to CONSTANTLY take nipples and teething toys and binkies out the doggie door and bury them in the backyard. Drove me NUTS. Plus they'd bark at like 1am and wake them up and when you've spent HOURS getting two babies under the age of 1 1/2 to bed and a dog bark wakes them up you just wanna hurl the lil furry dudes out the window!!!

nagi....thanks, he does look like sofyan alot, but...believe it or not, hes changing into quite the lil minime....my mom took out some newborn shots of me, and alas, he really favors me...i never thought i would be able to say that...his face structure is all me...his big blue eyes, and his hair is falling out and turning brown....my handsome lil man....

His eyes are blue? I can't tell from the photo. They look brown. Either way he is a doll! lil hunk!

You know there is something about babies that are a mix between an arab and white person. They seriously are stunning! Of course I am jealous of my Moroccan SIL's. Natural beauties.

Oh yes, the house is still spinning. Charles what were you drinking today anyways?

So he is now measuring 7lbs 7oz as opposed to his 7lbs 1oz on Friday. Tech said they can vary by 1/2lb at this point. He got 8 out of 8 on the biophys and the S/D Ratio looks NORMAL!!!! dr said he was possibly grabbing or laying or something on his cord last week and that will hinder the flow. SOOOOOOOO now we just go to the appt on Thurs and continue on as normal unless any other problems arise, which God willing they wont since we are so close!


I am feeling PERFECT now that i know the baby is doing very well actually. Maybe i can get some sleep tonight!!

Ive noticed that with all 3 of the latest MENA boys. Zaid, Ayman (Carrie and Simo's little bundle), and Mehdi are really turning out like their mamas. The older Mehdi gets, the more of me I can see in him, especially when I look at my baby pictures from that age. Check it out, this pic was taken when I was almost 3 months old:

Its one of a dozen. You know how it goes, take a zillion pics just to get that perfect one with a giggle. For someone reason telling my son in a high-pitched voice that he is "Tasty and deeeeelicious" makes him giggle uncontrollably. He also enjoys me singing that Pussycat Dolls song "Dontcha wish your girlfriend..." with altered lyrics.
