my question might sound stupid, but I came on K-1. My friend is coming now on K-3 and thinks she already has a work permit.
What is the right procedure in case of K-3? Is she right ?

K-3 is a multi-entry visa so unlike K-1 your friend will not need an AP.
But they would still need to apply for an EAD; there's no work authorization with K-3 status.
