I received an email that I got an RFE on May 5th and according to that email it was sent on May 3rd. I am still waiting for my RFE letter and it has been 9 days since that date. From anybody's experience with receiving an RFE how long does it usually take to get a letter after getting an email that you have gotten an RFE? How much longer should I wait before calling them to make sure it wasn't misplaced?

I would give it a couple of weeks.

Mine was 6 days from the time I received the email...but keep in mind it is the CSC (California Slow Center)....

We never received email notification of ours. The envelope with the dreaded blue letter just showed up in my mailbox one day.

I would give it another week and then call the RFE line, and explain what happened.

As you can see from my timeline RFE hard copy was very fast to come........Personally I would try to give them a call

Well guys FYI,
My RFE letter finally arrived after 8 days of receiving the email. It looks like they want more proof of relationship so I will go ahead and send in some more pictures, emails, phone cards and chat logs. I guess patience is a virtue when it comes to the CSC.

Letter explaining RFE takes about 3 weeks in the mail.
