Hi everybody, I hope you guys have a super day.
I got married with an american on 25th of April 2008, my hubby right now is in service; he is in the army and now he is working in Iraq. I had to come back home; thailand, till he comes back to States which is on May or April next year. I lived in the US for 1 year with a J1 visa. The J1 visa required me to stay at my home country for 2 years. Right now I've applying for a J1 waivers 2 years rules and as well I was planing on applying the K3 visa after I get approved the waiver one but I've been reading and looked up online about it and now I'm confused about CR1/IR! and K3. I think I know how it is different but I'm just by myself and I don't know where I should start.

Thank you for your assistant!!

I am with you. My husband is in Iraq now, his forth deployment and the third trip to Iraq. There are some other military spouses on this forum. Visit "US Military Spouses" thread if you want to.
There are other military spouses there that are going through the same thing. If you have any question during the process, especially related to military, drop a line there. Everyone will be happy to help you.

You are not alone my lovely, there's quite a few military spouses on this website good.gif so, please don't feel sad.
We have our own little thread too, the link is in my signature .... Military Spouses Thread.

As you haven't filed your I-130 yet, there's a couple of options, the latest one was posted on the thread by Marine Babe, using Direct Consular Filing (due to deployment) even though her husband was not living in her country. So, there's more than one possibility for your situation .... the DCF doesn't come with a guarantee but if it works it could be very fast.
Please read her super posting on the thread. I think it's about 3 pages towards the end.

If this doesn't work, then there's the military expedite option available via USCIS too.
We are here to help, so if you have a question just post it on the military thread and I'm sure one of us will get back to you soon.

Do keep in contact with us all, as we understand what you're going through.

Big hugs for you
Sarah x

Thank you Sarah, I feel really sad but now I know that I still have someone especially in this site is helping me. I'm just confused and scared of everything that I'm going through sometimes.

Have a good day.
