Hi,
I emailed my company's human resources contact that I needed an employment letter of verification; i provided them with the sample letter that is provided here in visajourney, along with the requirements that they needed to cover like, 'employment status, salary, start date of employment, nature of employment.."
I got an email asking for me to provide the following:

recipients name, company and address (including phone number or email address)

Thus my question is----who would be considered the recipient in this case? Is it my fiance's consulate, is it USCIS?
Or how have others addressed this issue?
thanks!

It would be the consulate where your fiancee will have the interview.

My employment letters were all addressed to me with the top line being "Re: Verification of Income".
You do not need it to be addressed to the US Consulate - they might mail it to them. Have it addressed to you. And you can then send it along with the I134 to your fiance/wife who will then take it to the consulate at the time of interview. Good Luck

My fiance's employment letter was addressed "To whom it may concern". If it is necessary to address it to someone in particular, I agree withZee, it should be addressed to the Consualte, just make sure that they know you need to receive the letter so they do not mail it to the Consulate.

Well, mine was addressed to Department of State/NVC.

By the way eric_and_teresa, wish you good luck for todays interview! good.gif
