Can someone tell me that does the co-sponsor (I-864A) needs to send their birth certificate to NVC to show relationship with the petitioner. the instructions for the form dont ask for it. but the nvc operator says you need it. please advise

well my dad does not have his birth certificate he was born in 1950's but on my bitrh certificate it says father: and then the name.

so i think that would be sufficient...

that is what i am doing.. to show the relationship btwn me and my father.. plus on his 05 tax returni was claimed as his dependant so i have my name on their too as child..
