It all feels real now ..... just got my NVC case number from the 'very friendly and helpful' NVC phone folk .... I cannot believe how nice they are!!!

Still not on the automated system as the file has just arrived .... but at least it's really happening now ..... time to celebrate at last

Am I the only one, or one of the very few, who sent the I-864 as soon as I paid the bill and then sent the DS-230 about 10 days later? It seems most people sent the two things awfully close together or even together ... I have to call and check if my DS-230 was "entered into the system" yet ... It arrived at 11am today so I'm probably expecting too much lol

I don't think it matters. They go to the same locations, but evidently different units. I would have sent my I-864 right away but I was waiting for tax transcripts.
I think from what others have said to me, a week is more likely when the DS-230 will be entered.

my ds 230 has not evern been entered in nvc system yet.... ive been calling everyday andmy aos is under review...

i hoppe we all get thru nvc soon!!

I found out that my AOS is free and clear - and I got the DS-230 checklist today lol ... Too late, my DS-230 got there 11am ... So let's see what happens.

That's great Sarah to get NVC case#. NVC people are more knowledgable about the underlying case than USCIS folks

Now you can try to get IIN.

BTW, our interview has been scheduled on July 3rd and by the grace of God, she can land in the U.S on July 10th. Talked to NVC live operator from India 2 times already - one to confirm Case Completion and the other about Case Forward to Consulate. It is very easy to get them at 7:30AM

Lotto, that is such great news. My status still hasn't changed yet, but I am thinking either tomorrow morning (most of our cose movement has happened Fri/Sat) or next week. Quick question...I am noticing that cases from India are having their interviews scheduled rapidly after the "Case Complete", yet some have to wait awhile. Is this a situation specific to your the US Embassy there or to certain types of cases? Whatcha know? Tell me, Tell me (haha)

I got my NVC case number and IIN at the same time, they hadn't even uploaded it onto the system properly, but the person I spoke to managed to find it .... still no sign of my NOA2 hardcopy, so, I don't have my A# number yet .... oh, well. It would be nice to see if they've given me the same as my last one

Yes, we got the interview date on July 3rd. Mrs. Loto will be in the U.S on July 11th unless there are further glitches

I am flying back to the U.S on June 1st and will be there on the same day evening. Now more decorations for my sweetie

my brother case was complete on MAY 28 and he called yesteday to find out the date but they didn't assign the date yet.

Yes Sarah, I double confirmed with NVC operator today morning about interview date - it is on July 3rd at 8:00AM at Chennai U.S Consulate. She is going to block the ticket today on July 11th to New Jersey

Some good news - I wish I had gotten through on Friday to put my concerns to rest earlier but I called this morning and it's official - NVC entered our DS-230 in the system on 5/30/08!!! Hopefully it'll be completed within the next week or so and we'll have a real shot at a July interview date!

Hyd, Since your DS-230 is entered on May 29th, your case will be closed around June 10th. Normally, Chennai consulate schedules interview on 10th of each month for the following, you're in border line for July interview. However, we never know.

Nope Hyd I started the work today. But freeking out at work location by emails and VJ

Just got off the phone with an NVC operator. Although my AVR hasn't chnaged yet, as of today our case was COMPLETE!!!! What a relief!!! Waiting on interview scheduling, probably not until next week though for a July date. Almost to the finish line though. Who is next??

LOTO - I'm hoping I can be approved before the end of this week, I did some number crunching looking at the other thread which was tracking after DS-230 entry (case complete and interview dates) and I saw that the completed cases were taking about 6 days on average ... So I'm hoping that 7 days will be enough for mine (that would put me at June 6th) ... even 10 days will work because that's June 9 and that's the "cut-off" for a July interview, supposedly!
