Hello All, Does anyone know if it is still nesessary to pay the fees for the IV/AOS required for the IR-1 visa of the pending I-130 if we are going for a K-3 or is it best to pay the fees anyway just in case the I-130 gets NAO2 before the I-129f does?

If you can go all the way with the I-130 IR-1. Christ you'll get a 10 year Green card without going thru the cost and hassles of AOS and removing conditions! If you've been married for 2 years? GO FOR THE IR-1If not! Go for the CR-1. K3s SUCK!!!~!

Haole,
I absolutly agree about the AOS with a K-3. I will happily take a CR-1 for my wife over a K-3 as long as it doesn't cost us another 6 months or more. I guess I'll just wait to see what the VSC sends my way next and do more research.

The question is irrelevant because IV and Affidavit of Support fees are not paid until after NOA2.

You'll benefit from reading this November 2006 press release too.

Ok, thanks for the input. I read the USCIS release and understand.
