I was just checking NVC AVR.

It says "NVC has reviewed your forms and package and found information is missing or incomplete..." And they will mail you the required details...

So far only I-864 AOS package has been mailed from my side. So, if this is true, I believe it could be AOS package.

Can you please reply if this is usual message or really an RFE for AOS from NVC ?

I have mailed the following with AOS:
1. Bar Coded Cover sheet
2. Completed and signed form I-864
3. Last 3 years IRS Tax Transcripts (2007,2006,2005)
4. Employment letter (Since I am a consultant, salary was specified on hourly rate. In AOS, I translated to annual compensation)
5. Last 7 Pay stubs of the year 2008 (This covers all paystubs in 2008 until April. This has exceeded the poverty line in the first 2 months of 2008 itself)

Jeez, I won't be here due to my vacation

Anyway, I can call them on Monday only. Meanwhile, your feedback is appreciated !!!

they are waiting for your ds230, i get the same message before.
it normal if you call just speak to live operator and check to see if your ds230 generate
then you know what missing

I would think that its too soon for them to ask for the DS230 since he just paid the bill...usually the automated message would say "NVC is awaiting the biographic page"..blah blah blah...that is when the DS230 has been generated...maybe you forgot to answer a question on the I-864...it could be something so small...hopefully its not though...i would call as soon as they open on Monday...

Everything you've listed for the AOS appears to be all current and correct, so this is confusing Loto .... hopefully it is just the DS-230 stuff.
Fingers crossed, do let us all know how this pans out, as unless they're wanting a small bullock, a virgin and the kitchen sink, then there's nothing else left

I reviewed I-864 form again and again and these are my thoughts. I need to call them on Monday morning.

1) I put "NONE" on beneficiary's A# based on one VJ posting though I-130 NOA2 had listed A# of her.
2) Since the last paystub clearly revealed it was very well above the poverty line, I didn't fill ASSET section and left blank.
3) I was on hourly wages and it was there on employment letter too. But annual gross was not present. So, I projected it to annual gross and entered in I-864.
4) All 2008 paystubs where photocopies (didn't send original since 2 originals were not there since I had to mail them to India for a mortgage loan)
5) Since last 3 years (2007,2006,2005) original IRS transcripts were present, I didn't include those 3 years 1040 and W-2

And the last, but not the least, I didn't include a small bullock, a virgin and the kitchen sink as Sarah mentioned

I still need more feedback from VJ. Also, I'll call a live operator (it is the shitty process to get them) on Monday morning for more details and update here. NVC has mailed this letter on 05/09/2008 (Friday) as per AVR. I am leaving on 05/15/2008 evening to India. I don't know if I get this letter before my journey

Just spoke to my husband and asked him about this message since he's te one that allways calls NVC and hear the messages and he told me that he kept getting this same message till NVC got our DS 230. So, he suggested me to tell you that you should call NVC and talk to the operator and ask him(or her) if so far they have all your documentation updated. That will solve the mistery, but I believe that this message just mean that they don't have all the documentation requiered to complete your case and it won't change until they get your DS 230.

Let's hope that is just it.

I got the same false RFE after the I-864 was cleared at NVC on 04/28. They are asking for DS-230; that's all. NVC even sent me the RFE on 04/29 by mail asking for "MISSING DOCUMENT LIST, OF-230."

The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230).

Hopefully, by Monday, you can call the operator to clear that issue up. Good luck!

I got the same RFE 5/6 I called and they said my I-864 was fine they were waiting on the DS-230 I told them I mailed it 5/2 she said I was probably in the building and would post soon on 5/8 it said they were reveiwing my check list......or whatever.......didnt pay much attention since the RFE was taken care of

it a true message. after you send in your ds230 you will hear this "Checklist letter was received on........." you won't hear a message that say "Waiting on your biographic data....".
so it is really safe that you prepare your ds230 and send them in. I pretty sure it about ds230.
i am too received the rfe letter when my i-864 is complete.

The message is because they have not processed the IV fee yet, that is what is missing. when that is processed they generate the DS-230 request for documents.

I got this same msg around May 1st and it was for missing info. It's are DS230 and I received our checklist today. I know that our I-864 was also fine and complete. So, just waiting on husbands documents to send off next week.

have the same experience wink.gif in my case its the ds230; ( my missing visa photos) what i did while waiting for the rfe notice i email nvc with a simple inquiry whats the rfe message for? so i can project ahead what to prepare and just to be sure my dad also called an nvc operator..*best time to call is when the office open and 15mins before it closes) the email response is appx. 3-5 business days, and the we waited 11-13 business days for the rfe notice to arrive to my attorney wink.gif--we also verified if they received our IV fee bill and the agent says YES

I just called NVC live operator to confirm the "missing and incomplete voice message". She told me it is because my IV fee bill was not generated and the subsequent generation of DS-230 form.

So does this mean that my I-864 hasn't been registered yet since I didn't get this message???? ....I sent my I-864 since April 30...and now my AVR says "NVC is awaiting the biographic forms from the petitioner"...It was received on friday...Does this mean no one is currently looking at my files yet...I was hoping to get a case complete this week so I can get an early interview date since its still within the two week frame......

Jgay80, When did NVC enter your I-864 on their system. After entry, they will do the review. Mine was entered on 05/05/2008. Hope this helps out

Yes, I saw your timeline. In your case, they have alll info except your IV package entry. So, you're in final phase...

Thanks loto...just got off the phone with them...they told me they received my I864 on May 2nd....so it takes about 2 days from it was delivered to them for them to enter it into the system...so my DS230 was delivered on Friday...so hopefully they enter that into the system by Tues...and hopefully i get a case complete by Wednes - Thurs.... ...I can't wait until this whole thing is over.......

There are 4 phases when you submit your package to NVC:
1) You mail it
2) NVC Receives it
3) NVC Enters it into their system
4) NVC Reviews it

So, just the delivery doesn't mean it is being accepted.
