Just a quickie. I was wondering if USCIS, but Vermont in particular, do any processing and approval work at the weekend? Does anyone know? Have anyone heard of weekend touches or approvals? Just wondering - thats all!

Thank for the heads up Paris. I didnt want to keep checking my computer at the weekend if there was no chance of seeing any change. Have a good day Dave

Just a question since I am new. What are touches? I look at the status of my case but only see when they received the application and when they sent me an RFE. Does that mean those are the only times they have looked at my file?

When the UCSIS "Touches" your petition or file it means that an action was taken which required your file to be physically touched or moved. Example: Your file is touched when it is given to an adjudicator to process.

As others already said - Yes, they do.
In particular, our I-129F case was touched on a Sunday and approved on a Sunday as well (but the CRIS email arrived on Monday morning).
