Our I-129F Notice date isJanuary 31,2006 and we have passed the 90 day mark without a request for further information or a NOA2. So I wonder what is going on?I just checked nothing online for our rcpt#

Hi Athomp , I noticed that you are the only one left out from VJ's members with NOA-1 of last week of January , I also noticed that your recepit letter says, it's taking from 60 to 180 days when it's supposed to be from 60 to 90 days. Have you called USCIS ? have you called NVC ??? if they don't help you try writing a letter o e-mail to the Senator of your State. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you get a positive answer this week good.gif

Thank You for the advice I am drafting a letter right now to my senator and our local television stations with hopes of some assistance from someone. I have our child here who of course is a US citizen by birth with medical complications we had to have a total blood replacement due to the RH factor with his blood.I myself needed medical care so I had to leave my hospital bed to return to my sons hospital room. We need his mother.

Does your receipt say that it was mailed from California or Missouri? Is it possible that you mistakenly applied for k-1 because it is on the same form? Just a thought and if that is that case you need to notify the service center ASAP.

Actually looking at the bottom of my rcpt it states U.S. Department of Homeland Security Citizenship and Immigration Services P.O. Box 7218
427 S. Lasalle 3rd Floor
Chicago, IL 60680-7218
It does not say anything about California or Missouri so I am still bewildered please help crying.gif

Well you did the right thing then. The application gets sent to Chicago initially for K-3 where it gets processed and a NOA1 is sent. I think Chicago makes sure you have included the proper information and fees etc. It is then sent to Missouri for the rest of the process. I hope you hear something soon.

athomp,

Look at the top of your Receipt Notice - what is the Receipt Number?

Recognize that the Chicago Lockbox is the receiving station for the NBC (aka the Missouri Service Center).

Neither a petitioner or your senator/congressman will be able to get any answers at this stage as you are not yet 30 days past the current processing date of Feb 21. In other words if your receipt date on your petition is dated after Jan 21 you are not outside this 30 days. Even when your congressman can get some info when a petition is outside this 30 days, it is very limited and you will either get that it is under review, undergoing security checks etc. Hang tight, it will come. Wishing you all wating all the best and I hope you hear something soon.

Have you called NVC yet to see if maybe you simply didn't get an NOA2?
It happened to me. I never knew I was approved until one sweet day I decidded to call NVC and my petition was already at the consulate.
How crazy was that? Pretty crazy, so try that before you make the story big and then find out there was no reason for it after all...
Good luck. ANd btw, to find out if your NOA1 came from the NBC, check the first letters of your receipt number. Are they MSC? Then it is correct
roviso
Woo this is weird
Definitely I call the nvc & see if my is there already
Who knows human been can make mistake
Tomorrow I will give it try
