I have discovered there is an actual person here on VJ by the name of ' Pineapple ' .

Morocco is pretty much the same as what she explained from Algeria. The point that she was making is that once you marry a moroccan/algerian man, you no longer have the liberties that you had when you were just a "westener visiting".
