Just called NVC this morning and got a 'Your case was completed on May 8th...."

WOO HOO!! Thats only 2 days after I submitted my DS230. I knew it was gonna be lightening fast. EVERYTHING in NVC has been moving so fast for me. So my case was at NVC 45days and I actually lost 7 days waiting for my husbands PC. so I coulda been done in like 38 days or so.

Thanks sooooooo much to all of you VJ'ers I truly love you all and I KNOW this would not have been possible without you. I'm sure I'll have more questions.....so get prepared, haha!! And thank you God for answering all those prayers. Prayer works people you just need to PUSH thru.

"Two days after you submitted the DS230"...you mean when your DS230 was received by the mailroom???...Like my DS230 was received by the mailroom this morning...do you think i can hear a case complete sometime next week...that will be so cool because next week is still the second week of the month and I might still have a chance of being scheduled for June...what you think????...is it wishful thinking....

Well 2 days is after the NVC logged my case into the system...not the day it arrived in the mailroom. So once the NVC system changes your status to "checklist response received on...." After this date is when you know that they have your DS230 in their system. The day it comes into mailroom just means the day its delivered by the mailman.

I know that Kingston Embassy was scheduling interviews 2 months AFTER your case completion so if that is still the case (as it has been for most other Yardies) then you'll likely be in July. BUT......I am still praying for a fast interview date.

I only used online payment for IV bill. I also missed about a weeks time waiting to send in my DS230. Plus I sent in my AOS package about 4 days later than I could've. I really can't believe how fast it went. It was like NVC was just waiting to get my package processed..the slow down was all on me not NVC.

Hey Marlita...did u use James Shortcut?

I only used JS for the AOS fee bill and I-864 papers. I used Online Payment and generation for everything else. Thats why I got done so fast. JS is fast but online payment is WAAAAYYY faster.
