Best of luck Olivia on that last final !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to tell all of you that my husband is really showing that he is a great father! I am so darn proud of that man! He has been watching our son while I work and has taken such awesome care of him and he has been so supportive of me working. He has started helping me cook dinner and clean the house. He said to me last night I don't know how you used to do it all and find time to talk to me online. Malek just loves his daddy too! It's like he has to find him where ever he is in the house. If Malek hears his dad his little eyes and head turns and he kicks his feet and arms. I can tell my husband is in love with him so much. Sometimes I just stand back and watch him with him when he has no idea and it is just amazing the bond they have. I just thought I would share how blessed I am in having him here with us.
I hope all of you mommies have a great Mother's Day! We are going to be spending some time at the hospital on Sunday with my grandma. This will probably be her last Mother's Day with us. A week and a half ago we found out she has metastatic cancer and Alzheimers and just had a stroke two days ago. Please pray for her and our family as we learn to accept her fate.
God bless all of you and may you have a wonderful Friday and weekend!

Happy Friday guys! I got a new job yesterday! I haven't given my letter of resignation yet at the old job. I start on Monday at the new job. I'm going to give my letter on Sunday, when I am working, effective immediately. I am trying to decide if I want to put in there that my resignation is effective immediately (or on the 18th at the end of my vacation) because of my boss's porn habit, telling us sex stories all day long, threatening us, touching us, screaming at us, etc etc etc... or if I just want to say I am quitting because of the unprofessional attitude of him (and not mention his porn habit at work and let them slander me like they slander everyone) or if i should just say "I quit" in a letter.

LOL1 I am so not vengeful and that is a problem here! I have never quit with less than a two-week notice before, and I have NEVER been fired, and so it's really grating on me to do this. Then, again, sinec he's calling meetings about me and me "going against him" (which we have established I am not or else I would have handed him in a long time ago), i am afriad to stick around longer. I remember the first day he was working when he yelled at me about my "excessive days off" because i was taking a day off and had switched a shift with another worker, so I was still working 40hrs that week and I had not taken a day off since January 10, 2007 (and this was September 2007). So basically, i wasn't taking a day off--I was just switching a regular day off with someone else. He had no idea who I was or what I was doing and he was already telling me "that is not the way it is going to be" and "maybe if you cannot work your scheduled day you should find another job." He was friendkly up until I told him i prefer to not touch men and then he went off on me.

then include it along with general info and specific info, citing dates, times, witness and events. they need to know what's going on as they are on the hook for a hostile work environment, along with sexual harassment. i was not sure if it would stop at your boss or not, if it did then it would be a waste of time.

Ok julianna if you need help with a nice letter, hit me up, here is an example of a letter of resignation, I think you need something on this lines.
Dear Ms. Crooke,
Let me first start by saying, I have always admired how your professional demeanor in the office ironically correlates with your surname. Being said, I would have given you 2 weeks resignation notice. However, I have watched you over the years immediately terminate employees after they give you their dutiful 2 weeks resignation notice. Therefore, it gives me great pleasure to present this resignation letter to you effective immediately.
You have always said I should be more proactive and take more initiative, so I'm sure you won't mind me taking this initiative and beating you to the punch. How I see it, I'm saving you the trouble of thinking up of some devious accusation to terminate my employment and tarnishing my good name in this unethical corporate world. Now, I don't expect you to care about my well being because you don't even care about your own children or your husband. That's why you spend most of your time in your office after hours pretending to do the company's work.
By the way, I just know after you read the first paragraph, your little evil micro-managing calculating brain had already thought up of a devious plan to spite me with. Keep in mind, I don't need you at this point for a letter of recommendation. Your secretary, who is seeing your husband behind your back has already taken care of that for me. You should have paid more attention to all the documents your secretary made you sign in the past week. Your husband filed for divorce weeks ago unknown to you and your secretary made you sign your divorce papers. She also made you sign over all your rights to your house, children, money and other assets. Well, I bid you farewell and I hope you found this letter as amusing as everyone else in the office did.
Sincerely,
...On to a better tomorrow

Oh yeah, I can do all of that! The good thing (or bad depending on how you feel for the people) is that i was not the sole witness to any event! I think i'll copy HR like you guys said to do.

LOL! The funny part is I was going to submit my letter not to my boss but to his boss-- and begin with saying I had always admired his professional behavior. I was like this is like my letter! Soon, it was not lol. But that is an awesome letter. The only thing I am going to miss is that I will not longer get daily sales calls for him where they refer to him as "Mr. Toilet." It's pretty similar to his last name and it cracks me up every time.

I don't need anything from that company. I worker there for 4 years and my two previous bosses have always given me excellent recomandations-- so I can use them at any time.

The nasal spray and new eyedrops are helping a little but the eyes are still very sore. The skin around your eyes is so very thin and delicate that all the saline, etc. is burning, you know? I do feel about 50% better though but still want to rip my eyeballs out and itch them to death.
How is your health doing since the stent came out?

Oh man you all confused me there. I thought I slept through Friday and missed a final because of all the Mother's Day wishing going on. Then I thought maybe Mother's Day was happening on Friday this year and I was going to ask till I read Amal's post. Getting up and checking on VJ just when you woke up can be confusing.
So Happy Early Mommies Day to all you lovely Mommies. I better call my Mommy. And what else?
Oh Yes...
Julianna that is terrible but I am happy you found other work. Seriously it sounds like grounds for a class action sexual harassment lawsuit if you can get other people that worked there to go a long with it. Send that letter in if you are certain you are not going to regret it afterwards. Again I am so sorry you had to tolerate that for so long. Best wishes on your new employment.
