I have Book a flight online cause i found out that online booking is much more cheaper compare to Local agency here in Mindanao particularly Cagayan de oro City. Im in China Airlines and i think they are good airlines That will be this coming MAY 20.
Anyone who have the same flight as i have please let me know.It would realy be fun having someone around during the whole flight.

My question is has anyone here have a POE in L.A? is it hastle free?any advice you can offer me me is highly appreciated.

Ohh thats really nice chris, so you mean once we paid them, at NAIA airport they will not ask anymore additional,im just worried because my fiancee book me a ticket and i was thingking if at the airport they still need some additonal payment well aside from terminal fee.

I think you will have to pay a tax on the plane ticket. I also booked ShaSha ticket from the US. We just decided to have her keep about 3000 pesos with her at the airport to pay anything that may come up and have money for food also. Better to be safe then sorry. Keep in touch with us. It would be great to have a Filipina friend local for ShaSha to talk with or hang out.

My POE was LAX last December,2007. It took about 45 minutes to fall in line and the Immigration officer was nice and the questions he asked were easy.He took the sealed brown envelope from the Embassy, took one part of the I-94 I filled out on the plane and staple the other part to my passport, reminded me to get married within 90 days and wished me good luck in my new life here. I had ample time to get to Terminal 8 to catch my connecting flight.Don't be shy to ask for direction if you find the airport somewhat confusing . Have a safe trip and welcome to USA

I avoid Los Angeles Airport like the plaugue.

I hate it, it's over crowded, and a total zoo 24/7.

San Fransico is so much better, and Las Vegas is great as well.

For a Philippine National you will feel right at home at LAX.

My tickets were also purchased online. I thought I still have to pay the travel tax but then they only asked me for P750 terminal fee at NAIA. My POE was LAX and I did not have any problems at all. It just takes a long time to wait in line. If you have questions where to go and such not, there are uniformed employees walking around that will answer them.

Yes your right i was quite worried if the NAIA will ask me additional fees cause, my money in hand that time will just be right, im glad you share to me your experience before leaving also.

I dont have My visa on hand but i receive a SMS form delbros the other night thats why he book me a ticket now because its getting way and way expensive. So were just positive in everything that i can have my visa on hand this coming week so i have travel on MAY 20.

You should have no problem with LAX as POE. The key try to be at the front of the line. You will get thru fast than at the end of the line. I know if your finace' was with you, it would move even fast as you would go with him thru his line. Congra. Have a great trip and God bless.

yes the port of entry was just fine all the agents were freindly and asked my wife 2 questions. i was there with her and they ask me 2 questions. it took us around an hour to get through but we were the last ones basicly and 3 planes landed same time so we had to wait till everyone was through first before they got back to us

I live in the Southwest area. South 215 and Sunset area, your fiancee should know this area if you ask him. Can you tell me what part of town he is living in? ShaSha is happy to meet you also. You and her arrive in Las Vegas the same day because we will be staying in California until May 20th to visit some of the attractions there. When you arrive in Las Vegas send us a message so we know. Maybe we can all meet at Jolli Bee or Chow King for lunch . Dont know if you know this but we now have both places here in Las Vegas.

i was just worried at first because im new to the place and i was looking at the map of LA airport and it was very very huge, im just worried of my time but my partner always said its okey its okey, but still im worried since its all first time and new to me. I have 2 hours and 45mins so i guess i have enough time to catch my next trip frm LA to LAS right.
