Couldn't find anything recent about this, so here we go.

USCIS sent my green card and I got it last month. Unfortunately, they put my gender as 'F'...which is incredibly bizarre when you consider a) my first name is 'Robert' and

my photograph could not be mistaken for a chick (since I hadn't shaved when I took my photo).

So I filled the I-90, mailed it off with my green card to the Vermont Service Centre (since that's where my GC was sent from) and wrote a cover letter explaining the obvious mistake. I sent it with "I-90d" written on the envelope.

Questions, if anyone can answer them:

- When can I expect to receive a receipt?
- How long should I expect to get my correct green card back?

LOL @ not shaving !! You would think they are a bit dumb for branding you an F after having seen your picture though Robert is infact a girl's name too... and who would have thought a name like Stacy or Tracy can infact be a man's name too!

Hi there, Have you recieved any info on your I-90?

We sent ours to CA Dec 10 2007. It will be 6 months next week and still have not received anything!!! We have made an info pass appoinment for next week, hopefully they will have a decent answer!!
