I may need to schedule an infopass appointment to get an I-551 stamp in my passport. I don't need to do it for another couple of months but I was just poking around on the website to see how I do it.
I don't see how I can schedule an appointment for this. If I click on "You need Service on a case that has already been filed" it gives several choices, but nothing that applies to getting an I-551..
Anyone know how I can do it online? I'm just not seeing it!
Thanks!
Go to the main uscis webpage:
http://www.uscis.gov On the right hand side just below the box where you can check your case status by entering your case number there is a link that says "Schedule an Appointment". Click on that and follow the instructions. I believe you would select the option that refers to being an approved permanent resident but not getting your greencard - that was the closest one that fit. It will go on to give you a location of office option, a number of available days and times starting with the most recent ones available and then moving forward from there. When the time comes for your appointment you show up and just basically say you filed for the I-751 on such and such a date, have not received an NOA extension letter and would like the I-551 stamp in your passport.
