Hey!

Just wanted to ask to those of you who had already attended the interview at the Consulate. Did the officer keep any of your pictures?

I'm asking because, Eric and I had some really nice studio pictures taken for our engagement, but I would hate it if the CO decides to keep them. I made copies of the original ones before but they turned out very crappy. I want to show the nice pictures but I don't want them to keep them no0pb.gif .

What was your experience?

I'll make copies just in case, but they never turn as nice as the original ones!

We had our interview in the Dominican Republic. All photos were returned the us - even the ones I sent out to USCIS with the original application.

It looks like sometimes they do and some others they dont... Ohhh well, to be on the safe side, I think I'll bring the not-so-nice copies to the interview.

They kept the ones we sent in the I-129F but returned to me the ones I brought with me during the interview.I think to be on the safe side bring copies that they can keep smile.gif. Good luck to your interview!!! good.gif

They kept the ones sent with the original application, these were made for that purpose so did not expect them back.
They did not ask for more pictures, had tons of other "proof" no doubt of real relationship, real relationships are self evident, and we were both there, interview took 5 minutes.

I don't mind if they keep the ones we sent with the petition. I just don't want to leave the expensive ones there LOL.

WOW! You guys were so lucky with the 5 minutes interview! I hope mine goes smooth too smile.gif

How many emails and cards did you bring? Is there such thing as "too many" emails and letters? We got very many, but I don't want to bring a pile of papers.

What are your thoughts on that?

In Juarez they kept our pictures we sent with the I 129f and the photos we brought they gave back to us !!! We had pictures taken of our engagment party and our consulate officer gave us crap about he thought they were wedding photos ! We was not standing by a cake or holding up a marriage license ! I was in Jeans and she was in a skirt ! I guess he thought we looked married ! So I would also pick some casual picks of you out on the town ! I dont think you are graded so much as intent to be married as you are being in each other presents !!! By the way you are a good looking couple and you will have no problems !!! We are Praying for you and we cant wait to hear your good news !!! Good Luck on your INTERVIEW !!! As someone once told me on hear Breathe IN Breathe Out !!! You will be fine !!! Chuck and Teresa
