we already applied for I-751 2 months ago.
Hang in there Mike, know it's a tough goal, and while your wife is a permanent resident, still needs a foreign passport to travel. And that can be critical if she has family wherever she came from.
Kind of like a tennis game, when the ball is in your court, you can apply for the applications, and provide all the information the USCIS wants, then the ball is in their court, and you may have to wait months or years until they hit it back.
We were slow in hitting it back for the biometrics for the N-400, but already made appointments for my wife and daughter to get their expired passports renewed the same day they scheduled her for biometrics. And in two different cities, ironically when we got home, their new cards were in the mailbox. Didn't want to cancel that consulate appointment, made that over two months ago, so just got the biometrics done yesterday for my wife. Ha, when it rains it pours.
But now the ball is in the USCIS court, so now we wait.
