Hi, I have a very complicated question. My ex fiance filed a k1 petition for me last 2004. I went to USA, but then he is so nice that he said he wasn't ready and didn't marry me, so I came back home to the Philippines. One month later, he realized he was wrong, so he filed one again for me... we had on and off relationship so the petition was approved but we postponed and cancel and reactivate. Last February 2008, I went to US again to marry him,,, but he is really really nice that he said he can't marry.

My question is, I am the victim here, What if I meet someone new and would like to petition me, will it be a huge problem? I know I will never go back to my ex anymore, I feel like it is a game for him. My worriy is my future application if ever.

Under IMBRA, multiple petition filings are held against the USC not the beneficiary. The USCIS will have no issues with this for you. The real question is the USEM. If you honored the conditions of the visa (did not overstay) and were truly the victim of circumstance... It should not be a problem. However, only the CO can say for sure.

First, I think people should only marry out of love. If he didn't, he didn't love you enough.
What are the chances of you falling in love with another American? I guess my bottom line is you cannot do anything except wait and if you do fall in love with an American again (which might look suspicious....at least to me) than wait and see what happens.

First of all, there is nothing wrong with people having preferences. We all have them. I married a Filipina 15 years ago and have no regrets. If I were single again, I'd want to marry someone else from there because I like the culture and find the women attractive. If she finds white men from the U.S. attractive and hopes to find a husband here, what's wrong with that? It's not a crime! My wife had similar tastes and she is not a "gold digger" or "passport hunter". She's a good mother, active PTA member and a valued employee at her job. She clearly married me for love or we wouldn't have stayed together for 15 years.
