Well, I've successfully used my K-1 to enter the country, and am now getting set up in my new digs in Michigan! The last few weeks was stressful, to say the least, but I'm now feeling pretty good, and am looking forward to starting my brand new life. We've totally put off making wedding plans, so now I've got to try to throw something together in the next few weeks - yikes!

I guess I can now join you in the 'what I miss about Canada' threads! Luckily, I've never been a Tim Hortons coffee fan, although I think I will miss the reassuring sound of Peter Mansbridge's voice...

Thanks for all the advice along the way!

Woohoo! kicking.gif Welcome to the US! I hope you like it here. It's not too far for you to visit home is it?
I pass through Michigan on my way to my fiance's house all the time (well not since January, but was monthly for a long time). It's a nice drive.

Welcome welcome!

Things are different down here but you'll adjust! Think of all the sales at Targhey (Target)! he he he

As for paperwork...alas the sad reality is that it's just as time consuming although this time I am use to putting the answers in...it's becoming a little mechanical...he he he

Good luck!
