Hi Folks,

Well the big day is almost here. I'm nervous as heck although I'm sure things will go pretty well based on reviews I've read from others. Just wanted to see if any fellow VJers will be interviewing next week as well. Any final tips or pointers anyone would like to share??

Also for all those folks waiting for Montreal interview dates, man I feel for you. I keep checking your thread to see if they have been set yet. Hang in there, hope you guys hear real soon.

Ours is two weeks after yours. Not sure who else has one coming up, aside from Daly, who has her interview the same day as ours.

I know it seems daunting. But really, it's about as nerving as getting a driver's license. None of the questions are particularly hard. How did you meet? What does your spouse do for a living? Do they have any children?

I don't know anybody here who has been denied a visa after having the interview.

Tip: Compile your list of things to bring and then make an index of everything, so you can quickly find a document or sheet that they may ask for.

The staff is pretty easy going. They want information, but they're not zealots about it. I'd say it's about the same as asking for a loan from a bank.
