After months of lurking I finally decided to join the forums, even though I am still assembling my K1 application. I am a Thai citizen and I met my boyfriend while we worked at a summer camp outside of St. Louis, MO. This June will mark four years since we have been together. I have spent two summers in St. Louis, followed with a year of living there, and my boyfriend came to Bangkok for the first time in April. We are now ready for me to move to St. Louis for good and have opted for the K1. We have pretty good documentation of our relationship and I've been back and forth between the United States and Bangkok four times in the last four years so we're hoping the process will go as quickly as is possible. (But, of course, nothing goes the way you want it to.)

I will be sending the K1 application to my boyfriend, he will finish it up and add a hefty check, and off our application will go. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. We have already spent an awful lot of time apart and are so ready to begin our life together.
