My girlfriend is Peruvian and would like to get married in Peru, but from everything I’ve been reading here in the forums, everyone says not to get married in Peru because it’s so complicated. Some have suggested to get the K1 visa, get married in the States, get Advanced Parole, then go back to Peru for a religious marriage. I was just wondering if anyone has actually done it that way and if it was satisfactory?
Thanks!
Mayfair, I am a US citizen, and married in Peru, just this feb 16, it really is not that complicated..You need birth certificate translated into spanish and legalized in the closest peruano embajado..blood test, copy of your passporte, put the edict in the paper..Not really that hard, have your peruana, go to her municipalidad, and get the requirements.. good luck my friend..Daniel and Meche..
