I am currently compiling all the paperwork necessary for the K1 visa application. I am in Scotland and my fiance is in Denver.

Can anyone give me an idea of what is required in the friends/family affidavit letters of support or perhaps a copy of a letter?

How do you get these letters "notorised" and roughly what is the cost of notorisation.

All help appreciated,

Regards Stuart

you don't need the letters from your family/friends notarized... only thing you need notarized is the I-134 but thats for your interview. I didn't even send support letters from my family. just sent letter of intent from me and my fiance.

in the US its easy to get things notarized and it costs about $5. There I am unsure tho.

best of luck to you

I don't really know about the requirements for the K-1 but I got an RFE for some affadavits from my OH and from 3 third parties that have first hand knowledge of our relationship. I have posted a template for the affidavits here.
