i am the benificiary, i want print the Yahoo archived chat logs on another pc since i've no printer at home. do i have to copy and past the conversation at the Wordpad ? then print them ? i did that but the printed page has nothing referring to the Yahoo it looks just like a conversation which evrybody can prepare and type and print it. do i have to just copy and past then print ? Hope to hear some advices from you. thanks.

u ned to copy them to word pad or word office then save it on disc . cause this log chat archive just saved on your computer . best wishes for you

to print the yahoo chat logs u will need to buy a software called yahoo decode but u can use the trial version for free for like 7 times then they ask u to activate it by buying it!!
so u will have to know in advance where is the location of the conversations it's generaly located in C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles\ur yahoo account here\Archive\Messages\the account of ur fiance(e)\ur account here.dat
when u have it u just will have to burn it into a CD or disquette or attach it to an email then go to cyber and print it!

Is it necessary to buy a program? Seems Yahoo Messenger would have a chat history easily accessible.

The chat history is available on the computer used, however, when I tried to print individual chats, it only printed the first page. So I scrapped that idea completely. I instead took screen shots of the actual dates in the archive, from beginning to end, to show that we communicated daily. But that was just our choice, we figured they didn't really need to see the actual chats, just proof that we've had them regularly.
