My Husband just got the letter and do you really have to send 2 year of bank statements? Do they want the whole thing or just the cover of the bank statement?

I sent three statements from the bank, utility, credit card etc. to establish joint ownership from 1.5 year back, 9 months back and current. I didn't send all of the pages just one or two each and highlighted both the names on the pages. Good Luck

I'm sending a variety of statements from each of our 3 bank accounts and sending all the pages to show the activity in each account and to show that both of our pay checks get deposited in the same account. I am however blacking out the account numbers for safety.

I just included the page that showed it was a joint account and had the address... and no I wouldn't send 2 years worth of bank statements.. maybe one for each year or one for each quarter...

I sent in bank statements from each of our accounts from every quarter of the four years of our marriage. I generally sent in just the page showing the joint nature of the accounts, but for each year I also included one full statement from each account with all of the pages (from different quarters each year) to show that we both had activity on the accounts. They want to see a 'history' of account co-mingling, not just a one time event that is easier to fake.
I debated about blacking out the account numbers but figured, what the heck! They already have so much other personal information that if identity theft is a risk, we are already in too deep for it to make much of a difference.

I sent three statements covering the span of two years since AOS was approved. Then I just included the first page of the statements as all they want to see is that you have a joint account and not how much money is being moved in and out of the account.
take care.
