Do you ever just want to thump yourself? I sent in Glyn's police certificate application WITHOUT a copy of his passport. We just got an email asking us to scan it to them by email. So now I am trying to install our very old scanner to on the pc. So mad at myself.

at least u can e-mail it and won't waste time for sending it via regular postal service
They'll get the copy and case will be comleted soon

Thanks, I think I am just stressed out trying to get this all completed. On top of it all I started a diet today and I am feeling VERY grumpy.

just as an aside, for something that might be helpful -
I made scans of all the important pages in my passport when I moved to the UK (front page, visa page etc), saved them with a very clear file name (FirstName LastName Passport Page) and then emailed them to myself so that they were available on any computer (with internet access ) I happened to be working at... it's been invaluable; I've needed them for things I haven't known I would, but they're always there at hand when I need to send them

I can do one better than that
we sent ours off and forgot to put the cheque in!!!
got a call the next day saying they received everything except payment lol
had to send the cheque on its own (always scares me doing that) but got the certificate this morning so I assume they received it all

was so embarrassing calling up lol
