my fiancee received her packet from and i am pretty excited. only thing that is bad is she is on vacation with her family so she cant send it in. seems after we send in packet # 3 it takes between 6-8 weeks to get an interview date? at least everything seems to be going pretty fast for us.

) If your fiancee lives in HCMC, she can hand deliver it when she returns from vacation. From what I've seen about mail in HCMC, it's better to just go there than mail...... The sooner the Consulate gets it, the sooner you'll have your interview date. Peter and Thi

the mail is what i am worried about. she lives in long Xuyen in an giang and i am not sure how reliable the mail is.lol i think it may take a little extra time, but hopefully it wont take long so we can get our interview. i just wish i could come with her, but i cant get time off from work. also, how long is the visa good for? van wants to come right away when she is approved, but i may want to visit her and her family then fly back with her. thanks again everyone.
