My husband arrived from Morocco a few days ago on a CR-1 visa. From what I understand he can work using the Visa in his passport, which serves as a temporaty I-551. Is this true? Also, how long should we expect to wait to get his Green Card? And how do we go about getting him a Social Security number? [color="#9932CC"][/color]

And how do we go about getting him a Social Security number? [color="#9932CC"][/color]I got no responses but I did my own research... We applied for his SS number today, it will arrive in 2 weeks. Then he can work. He will receive his Welcome to the US package with in 30 days detailing things he should do, and his green card will arrive within 60 dyas.
