I am sending i-864 to NVC. I read on the VJ guide to write NVC Case number on all the documents (upper right corner). I did not and already closed the envelop. Is this a big deal. I am using the original cover letter from NVC (Online Payment). Please suggest if any one of you got RFE for not writing case number on each document. Is this going to be problem?

I think it's a good idea to write it, I did write it, just in case, you never know if something might get lost while in their hands whistling.gif

Thanks, Nita&Assaad

So, this is only for my own security. NVC does not have any requirement about it, right?

Thank you very much.

I believe so, I dont think it hurts to write it...

Maybe just your hand falling off rofl.gif because too much Docs.

NO!! This will definitely generate an RFE! Many people have received RFE's on not writing the case number on docs or passport photos. So I would open that letter write the number and then just reseal with tape.

Thanks Nita&Assaad.

Thanks, Marlita. I will write it then. Last thing I want is having a RFE for not writing case number.

You should write down the NVC case number on the upper right hand corner of all pages. Open up the envelope, write down the case number on all pages, and mail them out. You don't need to use the envelope that NVC sent you. You can use any envelope (priority mail envelope, express mail envelope) as long as you send them to the right NVC address.
