I just found out that I will be out of town on a day trip -- of all dates, on the date I'm scheduled for biometrics -- May 9. Does anyone has experience with showing up at ASC early? (Esp. if in San Jose). Don't have the notice on me -- do I even have time to reschedule, since my appt in on May 9, and today is May 5.

For AOS, we walked in 15 days early. Told the lady that we were in the area, She said no problem.

Try to go on Wen. They do accept walk-ins on Wen here in Pittsburgh and, for sure, in Maryland. My lawer told me that you have 90 days to do biometrics without the need to re-schedule-just walk in on Wen.

Hello,

I also live in San Jose and just brought my fiancee from Siberia a few weeks ago. So I will be going through the same as you are now. It would be great to know someone local who has similar experiences and maybe we can connect talk about it. Thanks

Let me know

Thanks for the replies -- I will try a walk in although San Jose ASC seems to be uptight about walk-ins. I'll report back how it goes.

A warm welcome to your fiancée! Sure, I'd be glad to help -- feel free to PM me.

walk in was a success! the guard did not ask me why I came early, or perhaps did not pay attention. it was also helpful that the place was empty -- only 3 or 4 ppl. I did not even have to wait. I went around 3 PM.

our appt. is on 5-21. we will try to go early.
