Hello all, and good afternoon.
I have a friend who was married for his first time in Cambodia.
He is now back as of this week, and he has been a friend of mine for many years.
He is looking for information on CR1 Visa, or perhaps a K3 if that is the right thing to do.
Can anyone give me information as to which route to go, and what is needed in Cambodia to do so.
If so , we would both be ever grateful.
Thanks fellow VJers.

GREETINGS MY FELLOW CAMBODIAN!

I am very happy to explain to you. The CR/IR visa takes roughly over 1 year and 6 months to get. The K3 takes roughly between 6-8 months to get. The downside with K3 is that you have to adjust her status to permanent resident once she is here in the US, and she cannot work yet until she file for adjustment. Well, you can just file for Employment Authorization, but you'll be wasting your money by just doing that. The CR/IR will give work authorization and SSN immediately upon arrival.
