I was just curious how many people have been asked for a Baptismal Certificate during their interview.

If you were asked and did not have it, did they fuss about it?

If you were asked for it, how many items did you have showing your birthdate?

Is this common in the Phillipines?

Hasn't been done to anyone I know of through Jamaican embassy.

If they ask for something and you don't have it, they don't make a big fuzz about it they go to the next alternative..

Not unless its your pictures, or marriage certificate is missing..

personally i wasnt ask by it but of course i brought it just incase... they're more into the NSO bc plus the NBI... if they think your bc has some corrections, affidavit of discrepancy or something, then baptismal is one way of showing and prooving who your are (among other things/docs)... what they asked basically for me and most of us here were just BC, NBI and CENOMAR (as means of indentification)...

although, i brought my transcript of records from my school (college), baptismal, my parents married certificate (i think... im not sure why i brought my parents married cert hahaha but i guess i was over the top [which is good] lol)... good luck and hopefully you'll have a smooth and easy flowing interview... God bless!!!

LOL that is what I am trying to find out, how common it is. Some people are asked for it and Riza doesn't have hers, and it's not a requirement on the website, so I figured I would check and see.

Very common to be asked for baptimal if person is late registered as LOTS of filipinos are that were born by na hilot in the provinces.
My wife was a they asked for it plus she had other evidence she is who the BC says she is.
Peeps do get put on AR to get additional evidence if they didn't bring such with them.
She had about 6 or more other items showing she is who BC says she is.

They ask my Son Baptismal Certificate coz he is a late register i dont
have it on the time of our interview thank god she said its ok, so i think
they not going to ask it on your interview.

from what I have known, you were only ask to submit a baptismal if you're a late register in your birth certificate.

Take your medical at least 2 weeks early. My wife and anak took theirs almost 2 months early in case there were problems.

Bananut said that she's not a late register

Ugh it would not let me edit that last one.

I figure it has something to do with the number of Government issued methods of ID you can furnish to prove that you are the same as what's on the BC.
Loterly_Richard
i dont have baptismal certificate ryan, coz i submitted it to department of foreign affairs when i renewed my passport last 2006. and i wasnt ask for it when i had my interview. but if riza has it then she can bring it, it will only take her 1-3 days to get her baptisaml certificate. she may get one if that will make her confident that she is not gonna miss anything for her interview.

I was asked for it since my birth certificate is late registered..
I think they will just ask for baptismal cert. if your are late registered. It is one of the supporting docs.

I have a few of proof of identity aside from baptismal certificate. These papers I have should do. God knows what I do not have and He supplies everything I need. good.gif
