i just managed to get thru to an operator..

i told her i emailed my ds3032. she said ok go ahead and wait for the acceptance response. they go by date of email received..


then she told they are waiting for the AOS bill from me, which was generated today (may 5) i said automated message did not say that

she said ok it was updated today (monday) so give it a few min.. i said ok

so she said when i receive the mail for AOS fee mail it with a money order or bank check..

i said ok can i pay it online

she saidno it is not working as of right now...

i asked for iin she siad i donthave that, i only go by cis number or case number

she was realy nice and helpful...

but guys what should i do, call again tonight to get iin and pay online or WAIT til i get the aos fee ( she said 2-4weeks)

Why did you say it is for online payment ?

Just contact the operator and ask for IIN, don't say anything else. If they ask, tell it is for your records.

Normally, they say online payment system is not working. That's their standard message.

loto i said i need my iin for my records, like someone said on VJ , but she said mam i only go by case number or cis number, i dont have iin numbers

and then she said i can pay my aos oncei receive it in the mail, then i asked can i pay online, she said no its not working..

Call again tonight, probably it may be another operator. Just say for your records, that's all. Never listen any other things. If you go for paper filing, you would lose another 2 months easily.

You can give CIS or NVC case# and provide all answers to their questions such as beneficiary and petitioner name and date of birth. Good luck

Try calling around4:00 PM Eastern Time, as the folks from the morning shift should be done for the day. Get someone when they just start their work day. Good Luck.

i will keep u posted!! if i get my iin by evening, then i will pay tonight after 10 pm central time and see if it goes thru (online payment) hopefully.. i hope it doesnt crash on me like it did to some others here on VJ..

night time would be best to pay right...?

Don't wait until night time to pay your bill since most maintenance activities take place at night.

Also, I suggest you use Internet Explorer as the browser. I have a feeling the people who had trouble must have used another browser such as firefox.

I had hard time as well but I finally got it after trying 5 different times and with night Operator...
It could also be that they don't want people to pay this way because they are afraid that they will be backlogged because of it... Too much work on their hands

yes if it gives you that option. Then after a day or so (they say 2-3 days) you can print your cover sheet for the I-864, but you might not be able to pay the IV bill until they generate it because I havent been able to pay mine yet... We are still waiting for confirmation of acceptance of Ds-3032.
