So I've booked my flight to the US, that I'm going to use the K1 visa with. Now I'm abit confused what to fill in for the advance passenger information the airline requires.

I'm flying with Aerlingus..

I've got two options out of the three available, not quite sure which one actually applies to me? Being a UK passport holder, I'm obviously not going to tick being a US passport holder. Here's the other two..

-Landed US Resident (Alien Registration or Permanent Resident Card holder)

-Non-US Resident

Which one I'm I? Both options ask for country of residence. Do I put the USA?

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

I just went through this... I picked UK citizen just visiting the US.. On continental it says its optional so i don't see it as a big deal. and since a K-1 is a non-immigrant visa your still a UK citizen and not a permanent resident. that's just my thought.

Yeah that's what I thought. Cheers yes.gif

Your a UK citizen - non- us resident. As of yet, with a K-1 visa you are not an official U.S resident - that will happen later with AOS. To say you are a us resident would be to say you have a green card/permanant resident alien card which you do not yet have.
