Looking at the timelines of other K-3 petitioners, almost everyone has their 130 and 129 approved together. Why have we only heard about the 130? Don´t we need the 129 to continue with the K-3 process? It´s the whole point of doing a K-3 visa, to make the process go faster?

Others who have had their 130 approved first, what happened next? Did your 129 come through soon after, or not? I´m afraid moving on without the 129 will only slow things down, right?

I guess I´m going to answer my own question...

My "lawyer" says that as long as USCIS receives your 129, when they approve your 130, both are really approved together. (Even though it still says pending on the website.)

Hi, our I-130 was approved last May 7, 2008 and received the hard copy NOA2 on the 12th of May, while the I-129F is still pending (???). According to the Lawyer of my husband, just wait for the I-129F to be approved sometimes on June 2008. Please keep me posted of the developments of your case. Thanks!

We decided after reading many posts about the NVC process, that if we had everything ready to go and followed the tips from other members ( http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=126503 ) , that it would be a fast process after all--we´re shooting for one month in all! We started on May 6th with our NVC case number and this morning we found out our DS-3032 and AOS bill were already generated, so we emailed back our DS-3032 request and are paying our AOS bill online tonight. I called earlier today to get our IIN in order to pay online. The woman I talked to gave it to me without any hesitation. As soon as they accept the payment and let us print out the cover sheet, our I-864 AOS packet is ready to send!

Good luck everyone!

I assume you mean almost everyone at CSC, since that is most definitely not happening at VSC.
