I read another post that said just to email them your choice of agent...donīt wait for the paper to show up. Or print it off yourself and send it in, but email is always fastest.

hyd617 our timelines are almost the same as NVC assigned us a case number on 25th of April 2008. My husband (USC) called NVC and spoke to the operator. Asked them for INVOICE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER or IIN. Once this was received both me and him would go to https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx and put in our information...The petitioner, then our Case number followed by IIN and we would be directed to the page where online payment can be made for AOS and IV Bill. If the status of AOS shows that it isn't ready to be paid then you can check back later. I had been checking it since we had received the IIN and only yesterday the bill was available for us to pay. Hubby paid it yesterday and it shows that it in IN PROCESS now. NOTE: The automated voice message at NVC is the same as before and only tells us our case number and that we should wait 6 days or week for the beneficary to receive DS-3032.

Also, yesterday I have emailed NVC my DS-3032.

Try Calling NVC and getting an IIN. It should work inshaAllaah.

Sara.

It could take up to 3 weeks to get the DS-3032 generated. It has happened to many people in the past.

I suggest you call NVC and get your IIN. In the meantime have the beneficiary email NVC the choice of agent. Don't wait to get anything in the mail. Call the automated system for a status. I noticed the automated system is 2 days behind. Best Wishes.

My case also reached NVC over the weekend!!! smile.gif SO HAPPY!!! I'll also e-mail my DS-3032 since it looks like there's no point of waiting for one to be generated. Also, do you guys still follow the NVC e-mail format listed in Jame's shortcut? or is there anything changed? or should be added to it?

ok guys our ds3032 was emailed to NVC.. even though our automated voice mesage does not say anythin about ds3032.. i hope what we did was ok!! ??? im getin scared now. but lots of ppl emailed right as soon as they got their case number...

hyd617, thanks for the congrats. I see that you e-mailed the DS-3032, wish you all the best! I'm going to talk to the operator tomorrow and see what they say(I'll try to get the IIN from them if possible). If they say they'll be generating this week, then I'll wait otherwise I'll just e-mail them as well. I was reading up on DS-3032 and I'm a little confused now.

1. According to the NVC flowchart, it says the DS-3032 is sent to Petitioner and also to the beneficiary. Is that true?
2. If DS-3032 and AOS Bill is generated at the same time, does this mean we can pay AOS Bill before DS-3032 is generated? Looks like Sara has done this and it would be nice if that's the case.

Thanks in advance to everyone for your help!!

Great to hear about both of you making nice progress. I should point out though that I e-mailed DS-3032 around the same time my husband paid AOS bill online. We both received an Invoice of that bill stating that it is in Progress and would take 2-3 working days for it to generate. I will keep you guys posted if I hear any reply from NVC.

All the best to you both.

Hello guys. I'd be interested in hearing if your DS3032 is accepted since it is not generated yet. NVC cannot accept anything until AFTER the generation has occured because they have no where to put the info. I accidently sent my DS3032 before generation because I read the shortcuts wrong and it was originally rejected. Took them about 4 days to tell me it rejected. However I sent the email the same day I received a case number. Hopefully you guys will not get a rejection, but I just want to point out...to anyone else looking at this thread that sending anything in BEFORE generation is a big no no with NVC. It can delay your case because it confuses them. Everything is scanned and automated at NVC so just sending an email without a scannable file that is ready for it may cause confusion an delays with your case.

It usually takes people around 2-4 weeks after the case number is assigned to start getting some action on their case. You are well within that limit so I'd just hold off for a bit. After DS3032 everything moves pretty fast anyways.

I suggest you call NVC and get your IIN. In the meantime have the beneficiary email NVC the choice of agent. Don't wait to get anything in the mail. Call the automated system for a status. I noticed the automated system is 2 days behind. Best Wishes.

It could take up to 3 weeks to get the DS-3032 generated. It has happened to many people in the past.

I just tried calling the NVC (finally getting through) and my IIN number wasn't available yet. On the other hand though, my case was just entered into the NVC system on May 2nd.... so this could take a little while before I receive and additional information.

This is just a general question regarding the DS-3032. Why would someone already email the NVC when the DS-3032 hasn't been generated? Wouldn't this cause delays because if the paperwork hasn't been generated, then why would you submit the information now? Is it just better off to wait until I receive the message that the forms have been generated before having my beneficiary email the NVC to assign me as the agent.

Also, at this time will I be able to call the NVC to obtain my IIN number?

Thanks,

Przy

The NVC updates it system every Monday with this type of information, but you won't hear it til Tuesday. So tomorrow when you call NVC you'll hear the new response. As far as sending the email early....Hyd yours really wasn't early since the generation happened today, but someone who sends their email a week or two before generation could cause a delay.
