I hesitate to say this considering your I-751 experience, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how quickly the ducks get lined up on the N-400. My wife went through biometrics on 5/28( I think we filed on 3/30) so you should be getting you receipt letter shortly, and biometrics appointment real soon after that. We now wait for the interview.

Hi everyone, I mailed my application to CSC on 05/27/08, check cashed on 05/29/08. So happy to be part of the May group.
By the way, I saw there are some numbers written both on the front and back of my cashed check. Can I use any of these to track my case status on USCIS' website, or do I need to wait for the NOA?

Hubby had his biometrics yesterday, his appt. was at 10:00, we got there at 9:40 (we always leave early since it's about an hour drive to the place, and you never know with road work and stuff...) they took him right away and he was done at 9:50! Now he just waits for his interview....

This is the first April 2008 filer that has received (on June 2nd) an interview letter.

Am I the first on this board to get an interview letter????

I got a letter today with an interview schedule for July /14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe how fast it's been the process ,here is my status:

04/14/2008- sent application
04/15/2008- Received - Delivery confirmation signature at Nebraska Service
04/18/2008- Check cashed
04/26/2008- NOA1 expect to be notified within 240 days
04/28/2008- NOA2 firgerprint appointment letter received
05/07/2008- Biometic appointment
06/02/2008- NOA3-Interview on July/14/08!

Now I really have to study those questions!

Updated my stats and also was wondering. . . The NOA says to expect to hear something within 90 days; but the local office for Washington DC says they are processing from January 2007. What's the deal with that?? Are they trying to set false expectations?

Does everyone's receipt number have a * in it? This is my fifth application now through this journey and the first time I have a case number with a * in it, seems weird.

Yes, my receipt also has * . I think all N 400 Receipt # having * in it.

That's it - we've made it to Star Status now . My case number also has a *.

Anyway, here's my report from the Biometrics Appt in Boston. It was at 1pm on a Friday. Short and sweet. I showed up only 5 min early, thinking they would make a big fuss about it, but there was absolutely no line. Barely half a dozen people in the entire waiting area. In and out within half an hour!!!

I can't wait for my interview now. Oh, and don't forget to pick up a copy of your civic questions brochure when you get to you bio appt.

My cheque was cashed on the 5th of June. I thought USPS had lost my package as the website stated it was last processed at Dulles Airport!! Oh well, not a biggy, not in a hurry anyways,lol

Hi,

I filed my application 30th May 2008 to Vermont Service Center. Which is 90 days before green card 5 years complition. They cashed check on 4th June 2008. Still waiting for notice.

I have one question for early filing. I appliled 90 days before, will they start processing now or will wait till my 5 years complete? Will get finger print stuff soon or after 3 months?

Where can I find my case number? I haven't got my NOA1 yet, but I saw there are some numbers on the front and back of my cashed check.

Can any body possibly help me with this?

I got my NOA1 today, which has Priority date as May 28, 2008.

Scary stuff says you should expect to be notified within 540 days.

Will it take these much days for citizenship interview?
