I'm sure this has been discussed but I can't seem to find a posting on it. Why are some NOA2's happening for people who filed in December when people who filed before are not there yet? I filed in November. Why is it out of order?

Different service centres work at differant paces so good luck you will get your NOA2 soon.

seriously what i have been told by people that have been here longer than i have is processing in order means simply that it starts thru the process in the order received but once it hits someones desk if there is something that the person feels needs further looked at that can delay it some or security clearance if one of ur names is a common name that can hold it up ........most do not get held up for a long time and while it may look like it is out of order to us im sure to them it is in the correct order .......

Unfortunately I second this. Get used to it because it happens with AOS and EAD as well. You will get there, just keep the faith and hang on.
