Hi!

I have a K1 Visa.
Last week, I entered the USA through Philadelphia Airport. I asked for a work authorization but they told me to send the I-765 form.
I married my fiancée and sent my AOS/EAD/AP applications.

I got confused in the I-765 form: I wrote (a)(6) instead of ©(9).

How can I correct this error? Can I call them? send a new I-765?
What consequences will it have?

Thanks for you help!

An INFOPASS might be the best way to try to correct this error. However, you have to wait until you get your NOA so that the immigration officer you talk to at the District Office will have a reference to use when he/she pulls up your info for correction.

Consequences if left as it is: You will get an EAD card that will expire the same day as your I-94.

There was a reported instance where the USCIS change it on behalf of the applicant to the correct classification... I however would not bank on it happening in all circumstances.

Thank you for your help!

Is there any other way than an appointment with INFOPASS to contact USCIS?

Well, you can try calling the USCIS' 800 number and ask to speak to a supervisor or an immigration office. Now many people have had success doing it that way though.
