I guess I am going to have to join this thread for June interviews. Mike's interview was rescheduled because he did nto have the second copy of the police certificate.

mi no why dem affi be so difficult..when in reality they have a copy of the cert

Hotlegz, when I checked my files, I have what they consider the original..both copies have an original picture and police seal and original signatures but the info that is typed is typed using a carbon. Who uses carbon in this day and age?

You pay so much money and have to go through so much for a piece of paper that looks like crap. Well, according to Mike all things work together to them that love the Lord. He actually had the interview with approval pending submission of this form.

Lawd mi belly...claire I asked Marcel the same thing. Of course he didn't know what the heck I was talking about. So, I asked one of his police friends, who said it's not really carbon, but couldn't really explain it; and I do agree. IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING MY 4-YEAR-OLD SON could put together

In a high fraud country like the PI, they have to pay for document verfication. In Ja they give you this piece a crap paper and acting all snobby with it. Like you said, anyone can make it, it is simple.

I know Kimmy, dem coulda sey come back in two weeks and bring it. I would have just sent him the moneyto get a new one done--no big deal. I emailed them and they responded in two hours and apologised for the misunderstanding on my part. When Tonya posted that they aske Drew for the second copy I asked about it and they said one copy is enough. I did not realize one was an original and one a copy. Carbon copy at that. They both had Mike's picture, the police seal and original signature on it. Crappy piece of paper. Them claim that June 26 is the eraliest date them have just to drop off a piece of stupid looking papa.

See they keep changing things. Like when we went to drop of the DS-230, they told us we didn't need the picutures. I had nicely attached them to the upper left hand corner of the form and the gentleman that took the form said they were not necessary and to bring 4 pictures to the interview. I was also told that while I was outside. Dem need fi mek up dem mind. Tap tell people different tings. Now, when my friend did her K-1 in February they didn't ask her for the NON-IMPIEDMENT form at all. She was cussing because the form was $5500. I told her it's BETTER TO HAVE IT and DON'T NEED IT...than to NEED it and DON'T HAVE IT.

I totally agree with you on this one. Each case is dealt with individually. The packet #4 that I got for Mike was a K-1 packet. Can you imagine that, asking for everyting I already submitted to the NVC and money too. i just kiss my teeth and wonder how they can't get it straight. What If I did not have my head on my bosy and VJ to rely on, I would have panicked.

But without VJ we all would be lost because the embasy try hard to confuse us all.

Ain't this the truth!! PREACH!! I do not know what I'd do if I didn't have VJ. Its like an immigration lawyer extrodinaire and support group all in one!!

I thought at least one other person beside Trulo would have gotten an interview date by now, seeing that the second week of May is long past. Anyway, you are all in my prayers for a speedy interview date.

I know several people with cases completed K1/CR1s and still no date. When they inquire they telling them August still, possible July. My cousin's man filed for her @ CSC in August she get approved in April, dropped off the DS-230 and still nothing.

Well, I must give a shoutout to Trulo..the only one on VJ that had an early June interview. Congrats on your visa approval.

I must also give a shoutout to Lawny and Wakey on their upcoming interview. Although it is closer to the end of JUne, I still want to let them know that I am sending positive thought and prayers their way.

June is trodding along and the second week is coming up and we are hoping for a few scheduled interview dates. I wish all of you that are waiting good luck and best wishes this coming week. I am hoping and praying for you all.

Thanks Claire. I am praying for a July date. There weren't too many June interviews so hopefully July is our time.

Hey Lita; I don't know why they haven't scheduled any July interviews yet. When I booked my SO physical they lady was like another one. She said so many people were scheduling medical for June interviews. I don't know what the embassy is doing.

yeah so far it seems on VJ, there are no July dates outta KNG. am i right? Thats so odd. I know that I track that DHL site all week and EVERYDAY there is a package going out to Kingston. The weight isnt that heavy so maybe its like 1 or 2 petititons each time...but thats a lot of petitions. I am hoping that July brings a date for those with case complete since April...this is sooo stupid. i can't plan a rass thing waiting for them to get organized and just give me a date.
