Hi,
I did my undergraduation in Pilani,Rajasthan (99-2003)
I am currently out of the country and asked my friend to get a PCC from the local police station,Pilani.
They have given me a certificate, but have given that in Hindi.
Is that agreeable. It is very difficult to get them to give it in english again,do I get it translated...?
or should the hindi certificate be fine?
Has anyone had such exp?
Thanks so much in advance,
Jigi

hi,
US Embassy needs all the documents in ENGLISH ONLY. Always request for English.. Tell the police authority to issue an English version... Dont translate it.... that would be more expensive and would be soounding dubious
Jigi
It is good to go back and try to get the certificate in English. However, if that is too difficult, the Consulate does accept translations of such things. Get an official translation done. It may be expensive, but it will be accepted.

hi guys,
from where we can translate the certificate, issuing authority or notary will work.
if the notary then i dont think it is that expensive
