is that true that; if i'm filling i-130 for my mother do i need my mothers photo and also i have to fill the form G-325A ?

i'm filling for my mother who is in India and she was with me here few years back and now she is in India from last 4 years.

in form I-130

13 Has your relative ever been in the U.S : YES NO (i checked YES) correct ?

C Information about your alien relative (continued)
17. List husband/wife and all children of your relative.

my question is:

should i write just my mother name of my brothers/sisters name?

lastly, this is what i have done so far:

filling for my mother:
------------------------
1) Form I-130
2) My birthcertificate showing my Mothers name on it
3) Attached NATZ certificate
4) Attached $355

mail to:
USCIS
P.O.Box 804616
Chicago, IL 60680

am i correct?

do i also need to submit I-485 ?

thanks.

Yes, I-130 requires a G-325A from petitioner AND beneficiary, as well as 1 2"x2" passport photo from petitioner AND beneficiary.

#13 Check YES if she has been to USA before, check NO if she has not.

#17 YES yes.gif you list her husband (Your father) and her children (Your siblings) on the form.

Your list looks good, NOTE: you only have to send PHOTO-copies of naturalization cert, and birth cert.

NO no0pb.gif you do not file I-485, that is only for adjusting status from a NON-Immigrant to immigrant in the USA. The I-130 will result in an IMMIGRANT IR-1 visa interview at the US consulate in the foreign country. You would file I-485 with I-130 only if mother is already in the USA on a visitor's visa.

Yep I see the checklist in I-130 directions:
QUOTE
If you are filing for your husband or wife, did you include:

His or her photograph?
Your completed Form G-325A?
His or her Form G-325A?
http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-130instr.pdf

Looks like relationship evidence like birth cert takes care of the G-325A.

Same for passport pics, photo flyer specifies Husband/Wife for photos.
QUOTE
I-130 – Relative petition — if filing for your husband or wife, file with 1 photo
of you + 1 photo of your husband or wife
http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/04_08_02Photo_flyer.pdf

So looks like G-325A and photos are not needed for I-130 petition for parent.

1) You write relationship to the beneficiary, that is your mother.
2) Do not leave anything blank, Yes it can cause problems later if information is left out that should have been there. She does have sons and daughters so fill in the blanks, also don't forget to list yourself in section 17.
