So the whole process of waiting hasn't been too painful, but the last couple of weeks are really wearing me down. I know I should log off of VJ and go see some movies, but instead I am checking the embassy's "processing times" websites three or four times a day, even though it is only updated every 1-2 weeks.

So....our credit card was charged on 26 February. Right now they are "processing" petitions "filed on" 13 February, but they have been on this date since 23 April. It looks like they will "reach" our date around the 5th of March. Does this mean we should expect Packet 3 shortly after this date? Or does the "processing" stage take a week or two?

Admittedly a REEEEALLY nitpicky question, but after all, what is VJ for if not so that we can all share our expert knowledge, right? (Also my parents are visiting on the 7th of May, and would love to be able to celebrate some good news!)

Once they get to your date you will get the NOA2 saying approved within about 7 days and around 2 weeks after that packet 3, it may well be a few days quicker than those times.
